irori

'As the aroma of savoury skewers wafts outside, hungry passengers rest their weary souls at the hearth. You are the chef on the cross-lands train, in charge of the irori cabin. Cook up a variety of skewers to warm bellies and hearts as you cross paths with travellers on their own journeys.'

irori is a cosy narrative-focused cooking game made by the collective, PomePomelo. As the artist, I took responsibility over the visual design of the game, and created all 2D and 3D assets, ranging from NPC sprites, 3D props to UI.

Aside from art, each member of the team also had a part to play in the design. irori isn't my first time working on game design, although it is the first time I was highly invested in it. Unlike previous projects, I had a part to play with influencing the game design deeper, like working on the narration system and cooking mechanics.

I'm very proud of my team and know we will collaborate more in the future.
